What a difference a day makes! Yesterday’s E-session with Tim and Sara was alot of fun – inside – but today’s weather turned around 100% and Scott and Heather enjoyed the Walking Trail in Putnam, the railroad tracks, and of course some coffee and pastries.

We had such fun-I almost ended up in the (swiftly flowing) river; Scott scared the wits out of me by climbing trees and the bridge rails, and they each took turns going piggy back I’ve only just started with the processing and it’s going to be VERY hard to get only 15-20 images for the Guest Book. Very!

This one cracks me up!

Tim and Sara : Engagement Session, Putnam CT

Tim and Sara were up visiting folks during the Thanksgiving holidays, and what better time to get together for an E-Session. We didn’t plan on the COLD and WIND — even finding shelter in alleyways wasn’t working, so we decided to utilize the great coffee houses and restaurants in Putnam.

Our first stop was Victoria’s Station–such great pastries and coffee. And the atmosphere is right out of ‘Friends’. And most of Putnam thought today would be the best time to catch up with friends over coffee and pastry. We moved tables a few times, waiting for the bright sunny front windows and sofas to come open.

Sara has the most beautiful eyes!

We ended up at Bella’s Gourmet Market for coffee and cappuccino which was delicious! The guys there were welcoming, and we didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the goodness the guys were cooking up.

So even if the weather didn’t co-operate, we had fun! just hanging around, trying not to fall over people, and some quiet talk. Thanks guys for your flexibility–and I’m really looking forward to May at Eolia!

Putnam and Pomfret CT: Engagement Session| Katie and Steve

If today is any indication of what their wedding will be like next month, it’ll be hilarious!

Started off at my favorite bridge downtown, along with about 10 others who decided during the 1/2 hour we were there, that yes, it is the best bridge in town. Steve cracked me up by telling each person that they should watch TV tonight and see themselves since they were now famous. These guys have the BEST smiles–quick and honest. No need for me to tell them to smile–I love it!

We then stopped at an old mill building I’ve been looking at for a long time-and who would’ve thought there’d be a guy walking around on a Sunday, picking up stuff, so we didn’t hang around since I didn’t want to be arrested for tresspassing

Made a quick stop at the tracks and Steve got into ham mode

I love this old alley in Putnam.

And finally, some time at the post office since Steve is a Postal worker.

We had to reschedule this session about 3 times because of the rainy weather this spring–and some one did the anti-rain dance since it held off all day. You guys are great, and we’ll have even more fun next month!

Carah and Bob|Engagement Session

Guess it’s not really an engagement session, but more a pre-wedding session.

Carah and Bob will be getting married in May, and we’ve waited a while until the snow finally left before we got together for their session. They are so much fun–up for anything, so laid back and I can’t wait til their wedding! One of the best parts of doing a pre-wedding session is so that we can work together, see what we all like doing, and you guys will be terrific in May.

Thanks so much for coming up guys, it was great walking around with you, sharing a coffee and (deliciousness deleted cause the calories don’t count if it isn’t written). I’m looking SO forward to your special day.

Michelle and Evan-Engagement pictures

Wow-what a day-it started with severe thunderstorms that let up about 2pm. So bad that both Michelle and I were about to call each other to cancel. It was perfect from about 2pm until I started off to the new barn when again it was blowing and pouring rain.

I think these guys are living under the lucky stars since it cleared immediately after I arrived — to find them both arranging their tables and setting up for the wedding!

The barn is incredible and I can’t wait to work it–and since Evan and his family are the builders it’s an really special place. The grounds are incredible–fields 3x the size of a football field–and all I could think of was that I hope they had a riding mower
