Rachel and Lee celebrated in real style yesterday beginning at the brand new Highfields Country Club in Grafton MA, where the girls prepped and then where the reception continued, after their ceremony at Our Lady of Mt Carmel in Worcester. Have you ever seen a more beautiful group of girls? And the guys demeanor in church belies their real personalities
I don’t think our little session outside will be forgotten for a while <blush>

Our Lady of Mt Carmel is so beautiful — marble, Byzantine influences, fabulous stained glass.

Highland Fields is a brand new golf club in Grafton and is beautifully laid out with stunning views overlooking the course and the hills of Blackstone Valley.

Kelly helped out with second shooting duties and was my VAL (voice activated light
) inside and out.

The details always personalize a wedding and Rachel and Lee really put thought into their choices. Light spring colors dominated all the flowers, linens and dresses and blended superbly.

The most touching moments for me come from getting to know the families–even if for only a day. For me this day it was all about the rings. Rachel’s parents gifted THEIR wedding rings to Rachel and Lee . An incredible gift of roots.

And at the end of the night Rachel brought me over for a quick group snap–and told me the story of this ring:
It was given to her at her birth by a dear friend; Rachel has kept it, and gifted back to the granddaughter of her friend. All 3 hands are joined here:

Thank you both for sharing your incredible families, and for sharing your day with us.
Have a great time in Cabo–and am looking forward to our summer adventure![]()
