Pet Portraits

When trying to decide what to name this I hit a stone wall.

“How many frames does it take to get the whole group looking at you?” (asks one wedding photographer to another; maybe 3, usually)   In this case, about 360.

“Octuplets!” Fugitabutit. How about 9 at once?

How about, “how to spend the most enjoyable Sunday in a really long time??” That about sums it up.

First, Jen came over with her 9 lbs rescue dog, the Pomeranian that is still looking for a name, and at the moment for a home. Now Jen and her family have about 5 of these dogs and are all cute as a button. This one appears will be about 2x the size of the biggest in their house. Jen rescued this dog from a fate of being left outside all the time in a little doggy igloo! I hope they decide to make a home for him.

Next, Alessandra came over with her (9) yes 9! 6 week old Weimaraners. As we unloaded them from the back of her van, they kept coming and coming and coming.  I’m sure the doctor who delivered the octuplets this week felt the same way! I have never fallen in love so instantly. It is a very good thing they are all spoken for.  After an hour or so of finagling (4 of us in the room, think about what it’s like to herd cats) they were tired of being propped up, turned around, picked up, kissed, snuggled and so promptly fell asleep, one by one. Except Purple, who really just wanted to smell everything (Bailey the lab had gotten into the shooting room last night……… Leaving the rest to the imagination.

Glancing thru the images I laughed out loud, in my house, with no one around. Laughed Hard.

If Purple ever needs a home, I think you might know where to find one for him!

Thank you all!
