Meg and Jake are finally married, and on one of the most beautiful late summer days of the year!
We started with some getting ready pictures at Meg’s home, and were welcomed by her family and wonderful ladies.

Isn’t she just gorgeous!

HA! Margeritas for one!

Meg and Jake exchanged cards before the ceremonies–wonderfully touching.

We had a few minutes wait at Sacred Heart for the previous wedding to finish up, and the ladies with their reflection limo was too good to pass up.

A moment to go, and a time for contemplation.

First looks!

You may kiss the groom!

YESSSSSSSSSSS! It’s real!

Yep, Dad, you are in the right place.

Publick House makes a wonderful background for a little quiet time.

First dance.

Wedding crasher???

This one deserves an explanation. I hate being in front of the lens………
Last November my daughter was coming home for good from Iraq; I decided to take the bus up from Worcester since 1. there is no airport at Fort Drum in way upstate NY and 2. the weather wasn’t looking good, and I wasn’t going to miss her homecoming for anything. Literally 5 minutes after the bus left the terminal in Worcester Meg sent me an email asking for availability and wedding details. She kept me company–me on my blackberry and she on her computer (during her lunch breaks I’m sure
) for the 8 hours it took me to get to Watertown. We met when I returned home 10 days later, and this is the cumulative result of modern technology. I LOVE IT!

You guys are wonderful for welcoming us into your lives.
THANK YOU doesn’t even begin to cover it.
