Welcome!

I am a full time photographer combining modern, photo journalistic (candid) wedding and portrait photography in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island; most central New England areas are less than 2 hours away, and I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I also run a successful studio in Putnam for more formal photography.

I recently completed a strenuous course of study which resulted in being awarded Certified Professional Photographer. Approximately 2500 photographers worldwide have been certified. To become certified a photographer must pass a fairly rigorous written exam which focuses on technical issues such as lighting, digital processing, camera and lens selection, color theory, lighting ratios as well as submit and have accepted 20 images to a review board which is made up of Master photographers. (I was pretty excited, lol!)

I’m the Mom of 3 great kids of the marrying age (and I’m trying real hard not to egg them on a little); a 2.5 year old black lab that now owns the house and an old cat that lets the dog only think she runs the place.
